Overall its ben a good week playing in my new surroundings. A hyperactive 4 year old in the room doesnt seem to have affected my play and ive had a few good results. 2nd place in the 40 dollar breakfast club tourney on laddies was the start and i also had 2nd in the afternoon 10 rebuy for about 500 dollars.

i also made the comeback of the century in a 20 dollar deepstack tournament on stars with 5000 starting chips and 30 minute blinds. Despite a preflop raise of 5 X BB holding QQ i was called by J8 off who hit 2 pair. I was left with 90 chips which i threw in with 62 off and a 6 on the river gave me the pot. 8 hours later i was sitting on 200k chips and hit the FT. Unfortunately at this point i had to go to work so got a sub in to take over. My sub duly finished 3rd for 500 dollars.

Got my best finish in the laddies evening 20 rebuy which is a tourny i dont particularly like given the 12 min blinds but managed to come 5th for 616 dollars after being last with 33 left. I was determined to cash as id had an awful day throwing away my winnings. A couple of bad beats didnt bother me but i threw away decent stacks in the BC and the 30 rebuy on laddies by ridiculous play.

Overall im a good several hundred dollars up over the last few days but would be a lot more if i hadnt wasted a load on sats and turbo stts.

300 more deposited on laddies since my last blog entry and 450 on stars. Been playing a lot less due to having acquired a girlfriend on one of the rare occasions that i left my pc. Good news on that front though as she has just got internet so that i can play poker from her place. Question is how will it affect my poker. I feel ive been playing well when i have played with a good few fts under my belt but ive been spending way too much on turbo stts and sats to big tourneys. Onwards and upwards though and ill have to do the poker accounts before i go off to england next month as i have a feeling i; now slightly down for the year but nothing drastic.

another 140 deposited on laddies today - haven't played for a week or so but will try and update this blog. Probably will do it when I win something so might be a while.

haven't been updating this much but just wanted to note down another 220$ deposit on laddies. Been playing a lot less due to work and new girlfriend etc and when i have been playing I haven't been playing well. A few final tables but no big cashes. Going to play a few tourneys tonight and hopefully find a bit of form.

Not a bad night - won the 10$ hilo omaha pl rebuy on laddies - 81 runners for 563$

Lost everything else though. 15th in the GY but no cigar and muffed in the 3K 10 rebuy.

Played the breakfast club twice more and came 10th (5 paid) and 14th (ten paid). Both times low stacked but got them in ahead so played well. Took down a lot of pots when behind so quite chuffed with that.

Just came 4/180 in the 3k gtd 10$ rebuy for 320$. Built up a good stack early then lost most of it just after end of rebuy when AA ran into 44 and I lost most of my chips. Made a comeback though and ended up with a decent cash - went out with AK losing to J9 but by that stage he was huge chippie over all of us.

Back to form with a 2nd place in the laddies breakfast club 40$ freezout - working 11pm - 9am this weekend so can't play any decent evening tourneys and as the BC starts not long after I get in I thought i'd give it a go. Just seemed to accumulate chips and never risked my tourney until there were 6 left and even then I got them in way ahead. With 3 left I had half the chips and by the time we were HU I was about 60/40 chippy - HU lasted ages - at least 30 mins - and I can't count the amount of times I won by strong bets or raises with nothing at all as cards were hard to come by.

525$ for 2nd which is a nice boost and hopefully the start of a good run - although I won't be playing much this weekend due to work.
